Meet Daniel Delao Jr. (Danny) - Owner and Master Electrician

With over 14 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade, Daniel is the driving force behind Deft Electric. As a Master Electrician, he has built a reputation for excellence, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality electrical solutions for both residential and commercial clients.

Daniel’s journey in the electrical field began over a decade ago, when he started as an apprentice eager to learn the ins and outs of the trade. Through dedication, hard work, and an unwavering focus on safety and precision, he quickly rose through the ranks, earning his Master Electrician License. Today, he combines his technical expertise with strong leadership to guide the team at Deft Electric in providing top-tier electrical services.

What sets Daniel apart is his passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety standards. He believes in delivering not just a service, but a lasting partnership with clients, ensuring that their electrical needs are met with the utmost care and professionalism. Daniel is also an electrical instructor at Mid Coast Construction Academy for both high school and adult courses.

Outside of work, Danny enjoys spending time with his family; with 3 daughters and a son on the way, he is always busy! His hands-on approach and attention to detail combined with his commitment to customer satisfaction, Danny will guarantee that Deft Electric will grow into a trusted name in the service industry.

Meet Lauren Delao - Owner and Managing Director

With a background in healthcare as a dedicated Respiratory Therapist and a passion for helping others, Lauren has always been driven by a deep commitment to care, precision, and problem-solving. After 4 years in the healthcare field, Lauren made a bold decision to shift gears and venture into the electrical industry with her husband, Danny. Today, she is a proud owner and Managing Director of Deft Electric, where she channels her skills in critical thinking, leadership, and client-focused service into providing exceptional electrical solutions for residential and commercial clients.

Her transition from healthcare to electrical services was inspired by her desire to take on new challenges and create a business that not only delivered quality results but also had a positive impact on the community. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for building strong relationships, she has quickly begun driving the company’s growth and shaping its mission of providing reliable, top-tier electrical services.

As a wife and mother, Lauren understands the importance of balance, family, and trust. These values are at the heart of Deft Electric, where she fosters a culture of integrity, collaboration, and care within her team. Whether it’s ensuring a seamless experience for clients or supporting her employees’ growth, she brings the same level of dedication and personal touch to every aspect of the business.

When she’s not managing the day-to-day operations of the company, Lauren enjoys spending time with her kids and husband, falling into a new craft, and taking naps. Her journey from healthcare to entrepreneurship is a testament to her adaptability, determination, and unwavering belief in the power of hard work and family values.
